Dear Family and Friends,
With 2025 being the year of my Bar Mitzvah, I wanted to take on a meaningful project to help others and make a difference in my community. I learned about Embrace Kids Foundation from my cousins who have been working with them for two years now, raising money and awareness, and connecting with the families they support. After learning all about the important work Embrace Kids does, I knew I wanted to get involved and help make a difference in the lives of others.
Embrace Kids Foundation exists to lighten the burden, maintain normalcy and improve the quality of life for families whose children are facing cancer, sickle cell and other serious health challenges. They strive to address the spiritual, emotional and financial needs of patient families in the New Jersey/New York areas. Embrace Kids helps each family in an individualized way, whether it be through family services and counseling, transportation to and from doctors appointments, inspirational events for the children, scholarships and educational services, and even so much as covering monthly rent or mortgage payments when medical bills become too burdensome.
In an effort to support Embrace Kids Foundation on their mission, I will be participating in a Dance Marathon event, organized by my family and hosted within my local school district. I will be dancing at this event alongside hundreds of students, as well as the children and families of Embrace Kids. EMBRACE KIDS FOUNDATION
Embrace Kids Foundation was founded in 1991 and is located in New Brunswick, NJ. The Foundation assists families whose children have cancer, sickle cell and other serious disorders in the NJ/NYC metropolitan area. All programs and services are free to families and include emergency financial assistance, individualized tutoring, counseling, and inspirational events and holiday parties.
