We are excited to announce that we are raising funds for Embrace Kids through the FRHSD THON. We are so proud to be involved with this incredible organization during our time in high school together! Anna has been involved for 4 years and Abbey is in her first year with this incredible event. We are thrilled to announce that Abbey will be taking on the role of Director this year!
FRHSD THON is a 3 hour event that benefits local kids battling cancer and blood disorders. Participants are expected to be on their feet the whole time. This event supports Embrace Kids Foundation and is also affiliated with Rutgers University Dance Marathon. FRHSD THON combines Freehold and Manalapan high schools and is an example of how young people can make a difference in their communities and have fun at the same time!
Founded in 1991, Embrace Kids Foundation annually provides over $1.5 million in programs and services to children with cancer, blood disorders and other serious health challenges throughout the greater New Jersey area, at absolutely no cost to the family. These support services address the families’ needs as a whole including social services, counseling, financial assistance, health education, inspirational events and more.

EMBRACE KIDS FOUNDATION
Embrace Kids Foundation was founded in 1991 and is located in New Brunswick, NJ. The Foundation assists families whose children have cancer, sickle cell and other serious disorders in the NJ/NYC metropolitan area. All programs and services are free to families and include emergency financial assistance, individualized tutoring, counseling, and inspirational events and holiday parties.
