Childhood cancer; when you learn that your child has been diagnosed with cancer, your life changes immediately. At Embrace Kids, our purpose is to lighten the burden, maintain normalcy and improve the quality of life for families whose children are facing cancer, sickle cell and other serious health challenges. My participation at the Spring Lake 5 on May 25th is not to run for time (I've been running the race for 30+ years) but to bring awareness to our mission and the impact that we make to the children and the families that we serve. Every donation, small and large makes a difference and more than 85% of your donation goes directly to our families.
