I am excited to be participating in the 2026 Heel to Heal on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at Johnson Park, Piscataway, NJ benefiting Embrace Kids Foundation. Embrace Kids supports children with cancer, blood disorders and other serious health challenges.
This cause is important to me, so I am asking for you to support my efforts.
Embrace Kids Foundation was founded in 1991 and is located in New Brunswick, NJ. The Foundation assists families whose children have cancer, sickle cell and other blood disorders in the NJ/NYC metropolitan area. All programs and services are free to families and include emergency financial assistance, individualized tutoring, counseling, and inspirational events and holiday parties.
My story
16 years stronger | In late 2009 I was diagnosed with leukemia AML (cancer in the blood) I did 6 months of chemotherapy but the doctor said it’s not working to only thing that could save your life is a bone marrow transplants. So I did other month of chemotherapy and a round of radiation. Then on March 17th I got the transplants and I officially was cancer free. After my battle with leukemia. It left a lot scars and it wasn’t easy to get back up. My Growth was affected do to the treatment
I would get sick constantly with cough,stomachache headaches ect. But year after year I’ve gotten stronger. Year after year but Now im stronger than ever. Gracias a dios im still here.
